The second member ever to join the Straw Hat Pirates, Zoro is first mate to Luffy and one of his most loyal companions, and yet throughout the story there has been little to no information given about his origin or backstory.

The theory suggests that Zoro's origins are actually from Wano, and that very soon we'll get a reveal about his parents and identity before his time as a Pirate.
