Both have their reasons, certainly. But what if we put it through the lens of not picking the right side, but instead choosing the lesser of two evils? Because there are certainly more than enough reasons that both of them would prove inept for the task. To demonstrate, we've gathered up five reasons that each side would make for a disastrous decision when it comes to actually rule the province of Skyrim, once the war is said and done.
Keep scrolling to join us as we pick apart each faction and make a case against them. Who knows? By the time you reach the end of our list, you might find yourself convinced that neither of them is fit to rule. Maybe they should just let the dragons win? When it comes down to it, the Stormcloaks don't seem to be very fond of the Empire's cosmopolitan makeup. We have certainly seen the likes of slavery, unjust treatment, and flat inequality in other parts of Tamriel before, but the state of Windhelm's Dunmer population is rather telling concerning the limits of their tolerance.
Galmar makes a big ruckus about how you "don't need to be a Nord to fight for Skyrim," but one look at Windhelm's Gray Quarter puts that statement into context nicely. Sure, they don't mind more meat for the grinder. Why would they? Just don't expect them to give a tossed pie about the state you'll be living in once the war's over.
This one's abundantly obvious, considering that it's a direct contributor to the reasoning behind the Stormcloak rebellion. Who is the best Housecarl? Is destroying the Dark Brotherhood worth it? Which side should I choose in Skyrim? What is the best faction to join in Skyrim? Can I join Stormcloaks and Imperials? Should I join Stormcloaks? Second in Command Galmar Stonefist honestly doesn't care about anyone who isn't Ulfric and behind the "cause", he would just as soon kill them all, yes including Nords.
His brother Rolf makes no attempt to hide his hate as he blatantly boasts about harassing the "Grey skins" late at night in the Grey Quarter. For Galmar he won't have elves in charge, period. Speak to enough Stormcloaks in depth, and this includes Ralof , they're not exactly sure what Ulfric's ultimate goal is.
And they don't have a lot of trust in him. For them it's all about Talos worship. They r senseless coz they r worried about worship when their province is infested with thalmor. Personally I hate both. The empire is just a slave to the thalmor and ulfric, like many people say, only cares for ulfric and is a racist fuck.
TC, is there a reason you used proper spelling and grammar throughout your post but absolutely refuse to spell out "people? User Info: Dracoustics. I believe Dunmer in Windhelm are mostly refugees.
The Argonians are banned from the city walls because of Ulfrics decree, and if you talk to Scouts-Many-Marshes after siding with the Empire, he confirms that. However the new jarl will say that the Nords hatred for Argonians is such that he will not suddenly allow them into the city for their own safety.
User Info: Prodrivertn. Ulfric is Hitler. I made sure to off him before he decided he should occupy Hammerfell or something. The Stormcloaks are racist. I don't follow racists. It's as simple as that. The empire may be toppled in time. Racism is a lot harder to get rid of. Yet we remain trapped by the structure called the mind. So you and the poster above you won't work with Ulfric because you consider him racist which he may be But 90 percent of tamriel are racist if you haven't noticed.
Each race finds the others inferior, that is a running theme in the elder scrolls. But Ulfric
